Global networking vendor requires a motivated person to join their dynamic team to focus on growth through new business and working with existing customers in New South Wales. The ideal candidate will be based in Sydney and will be a self starter that has a demonstrated can do attitude, displaying initiative and a sold work ethic.
Day-to-day activities are likely to include:
- Identifying new opportunities within the market and managing these to a succesful close
- Working closely with existing channel customers to manage their current needs and identify new opportunities
- Recognising the clients business needs, interpreting them and proposing a solution
- Working closely with the technical team and others within the organisation, where required, to ensure clients needs are met
Experience required:
- Two to five years previous experience in a sales role is essential
- Previous experience working within the IT channel is highly desirable
- Previous experience or exposure to state government, health and/or education is highly desirable
- Sound knowledge of networking technologies is highly desirable or at least having a technical background
- Proven history of achieving defined sales targets and other performance objectives
- Exceptional communication & presentation skills (verbal and written) with the ability to negotiate and influence
- Be organised, with an eye for detail
